Evil

Several decades ago, my employer moved us and several other families from Memphis to Phoenix.

Where does evil come from? “The devil made me do it,” is sometimes heard.

In the New International Version of the Bible: "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

As they say, I’m conflicted. On the one hand I have the wherewithall, both mental and physical, both of which are God-given abilities, to protect myself.
